The Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) is comprised of parents and other family members of individuals with autism who live in the 23-county area in southwest Missouri that is served by Easter Seals Midwest.
Families in southwest Missouri are represented by the PAC, which, in turn, helps identify the needs of these families. The PAC determines what support services are to be offered.
The committee meets monthly to discuss autism, the needs of families impacted by autism, legislative issues, research and reports from service providers, including Easter Seals Midwest.
Any person interested in getting involved or observing monthly meetings is invited to contact any PAC member or the Easter Seals Midwest office for meeting times and locations. To be more accessible to families, meetings are held in Mt. Vernon.
