Our Teen/Young Adult Group Interactive Fridays (TGIF) are designed to offer a supportive environment in which to improve social skills. These programs are designed for individuals with an Autism Spectrum Disorder ages 11-25.
To better serve our participants, the program is split up into two age groups:
First Friday* of each month: Both age groups
Third Friday* of each month: Ages 18-25
Fourth Friday* of each month: Ages 11-17
Location will vary based on activities
*Although we make every effort to have events on Friday nights, please know the day of the week may change depending upon the activity. In addition, if events do not fill up, they may be opened up to the other age group.
People who are interested in joining a group must have conversational language skills with limited interfering behaviors. Participants also must have a desire to be social, although they may still be developing the skills necessary to gain and maintain friendships.Participants desiring social interaction, but requiring 1:1 or 1:2 support are welcome to attend our first Friday events.
Activities are scheduled on a monthly basis, and may include:
- Rock Climbing
- Attending Plays & Musicals
- Sports Events
- Holiday Parties

The following are required for attendance:
- Copy of disability verification
- Copy of Social Security Card
- Completion of registration and medical form
- An individual Support Plan may be required (based on need)
